Description: Statewide coverage of Wastewater Facility Regulation (WAFR) Facilities. This dataset includes facilities whose current operating status is Active, Closed but Monitored, or Under Construction. Also included are un-permitted facilities for which a permit is required. These facilities are regulated by the following Florida Department of Environmental Protection programs - "Industrial Wastewater Program", "Domestic Wastewater Program", "Phosphate Management Wastewater Program", "Power Plant Management Wastewater Program."
Description: Reuse lines represent pipelines for distribution of treated wastewater (reclaimed water) for reuse purposes. Data sources include domestic wastewater permits issued by Florida Department of Environmental Protection, and shapefiles and PDF maps provided by utilities. The alignment of some lines was estimated by staff where utility line information was not available and the location of reclaimed water application was known. Detailed source and verification information exists within the attribute table.Reuse lines are mostly from domestic wastewater facilities. A few industrial wastewater facilities that distribute reclaimed water for reuse are also included.Reclaimed Water LinesField NameTypeDescriptionFacilityText (60)Domestic wastewater treatment plant facility name.PermitteeText (75)Utility permittee name.WAFR_IDText (9)Wastewater facility FDEP identification number.CountyText (12)County name.WSPRegionText (3)NWFWMD water supply planning regions I-VII.IWUP_NumText (20)Individual water use permit number.ReusePartText (10)Applicable part number(s) of Chapter 62-610, F.A.C., II-VIIIII Slow-rate Land Application Systems; Restricted Public AccessIII Slow-rate Land Application Systems; Public Access Areas, Residential Irrigation, and Edible Crops IV Rapid-rate Land Application Systems (Rapid Infiltration Basins and Absorption Fields) VII Industrial Uses of Reclaimed WaterAccessText (15)Values = Restricted or Public Access.ExistInfraText (3)Existing piped infrastructure. Description: Existing areas are authorized in domestic wastewater treatment facility permits issued by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP). Future areas are as envisioned by utilities to service with reclaimed water. Wastewater must be treated to public access reuse standards including high-level disinfection. Reclaimed water is generally used for irrigation purposes. Uses included in this database offset potable water demand.Public Access Reuse Distribution AreasField NameTypeDescriptionFacilityText (60)Wastewater treatment plant facility name.PermitteeText (75)Utility permittee name.LabelNameText (50)Use this field for map labels.WAFR_IDText (9)Domestic wastewater facility DEP identification number.CountyText(12)County name.WSPRegionText (3)NWFWMD water supply planning regions I-VII.IWUP_NumText (20)Individual water use permit number.ReusePartText (10)Applicable part number(s) of Chapter 62-610, F.A.C., II-VIIIIII Slow-rate Land Application Systems; Public Access Areas, Residential Irrigation, and Edible CropsAccessText (15)Value = Public AccessExistInfraText (3)Existing infrastructure such as pipes and pumps.
