Northwest Florida Water Management District (District) has been delegated responsibility for the permitting of construction of water wells within the District's jurisdictional boundaries. The District has developed a set of rules addressing the construction requirements for wells and these rules are incorporated into Chapter 40A-3, Florida Administrative Code. The grouting requirements for the construction of water wells within the District were modified by the Department of Environmental Protection in a letter dated September 10, 1980. This DEP letter created the Grout Line. |
