Description: Following Hurricane Michael, the District received reports that surface water patterns associated with certain major streams had changed since the storm. Specifically, waterway elevations were reported as higher than expected, and water from streams was inundating areas typically not impacted. An aerial investigation was conducted to examine District waterways. Photographs and notes were collected to document the potential reasons for change to surface water patterns. Impacts are resulting from debris, such as downed trees, in waterways. Following that investigation, District staff identified regions of greatest impact. This dataset is the result of that investigation. Areas to be included were identified by Daniel Stanley.
